Our world today needs rethinking and redesign
Whether it is current parts being made more sustainable or parts from other materials being converted to plastic parts in a more sustainable way. Designers have to be aware of the unique nature of plastics as a material and how to effectively design with these materials to ensure ease of production and efficiencies.
Existing Plastic Part Designers will need to update their knowledge base to effectively design parts from new high performance polymers for medical, automotive and aerospace applications in particular without excluding light-weighting in packaging and other applications.

This Programme will once again be presented, online, by Peter Cracknell, who is highly knowledgeable and experienced in polymer technology, having been employed in industry and academia teaching polymer engineering, tool design and polymer processing at the London School of Polymer Technology.
Designers, Production Managers and Technical experts will all benefit from this comprehensive offering.
No prior knowledge about plastic part design is necessary!
